One of the best things about False Summit CB is that you don't have to spend the whole day in the same room.THE SUNROOM
A little tucked away from everything else, the sunroom catches the morning light as it moves across Whetstone Mountain.There's a high-top table that's perfect for morning coffee, breakfast, or getting a little work done, plus a loveseat and armchair for reading, relaxing, or taking an afternoon nap.It's a simple space, but it's one of our favorite places in the condo.THE LOFT
Upstairs, the loft gives everyone another place to spread out.Two comfortable daybeds make it a cozy spot for reading, relaxing, playing games, or letting the kids have their own space for a while.Sometimes having another room to disappear into is the best luxury of all.
CLOSE TO THE MOUNTAIN
The Mt. Crested Butte base area is an easy walk away, with the West Wall lift about 300 yards from False Summit CB. That makes it easy to get to the slopes without getting in the car.When you're ready to explore farther, the free Mountain Express shuttle stops nearby and connects you with the resort base and historic downtown Crested Butte.Ski in the morning.Explore town in the afternoon.Come back to the mountain when you're ready.
THEN SOAK IT ALL IN
After a day of skiing, hiking, biking, or exploring, head for the shared outdoor hot tub.It's the perfect place to warm up, relax tired legs, and watch the mountains change as the day winds down.Hot tub available daily from 10 AM–10 PM.
A HOME, NOT JUST A PLACE TO SLEEP
The kitchen is set up for real meals and slow mornings.There's a private washer and dryer for muddy clothes and ski gear.A dedicated ski closet keeps the equipment out of the living spaces, and two parking permits are included.You'll also find the little things that make a mountain stay easier — from coffee and kitchen basics to the practical gear families tend to appreciate.
FAMILIES ARE WELCOME
False Summit CB works especially well for a family of four.We've stocked the condo with some of the things that make traveling with little ones easier, including a portable crib, high chair, baby monitor, baby gates, and humidifiers.The extra living spaces also give kids somewhere to play while the grown-ups get a little quiet time.
CRESTED BUTTE IS THE POINT
Come for the skiing.Stay for the hiking, biking, wildflowers, restaurants, and small-town character.Or don't make plans at all.Some of the best days in Crested Butte are the ones that start with coffee and a mountain view and end in the hot tub.
